Ryan is full of smiles these days and opens his mouth so
wide like he's laughing, but he doesn’t know what sound to make. It’s really fun to see him get so excited. He enjoys the lion on his activity gym so
much that we picked up another toy lion at Babies R Us the other day so he could hold it. He LOVES it!
99% of the time you show him the lion and he will smile and kick his legs.
Tuesday was Sarah’s first day back and work and Ryan’s first
day at school (daycare). We are transitioning him slowly, and he'll only go 3 days a week
through the end of the year. Ryan is really enjoying seeing other babies, and all the new things in the
classroom. It’s a relief to both of us that
every time we stop by or pick him up, he’s happy! His teachers are great, and give him lots of
attention. Ryan is even getting on more of a daily schedule. The biggest news is that he will finally take a
bottle! We had been trying for weeks,
but he had absolutely no interest, until just the other day
His also recently decided to suck his thumb…loudly. It’s really cute, but he's kind of sloppy and makes lots of smacking sounds.
Sleep! We are finally
getting more of it. A few nights ago Ryan went to bed at 10pm, and we had to wake HIM up at 6am to get ready
for school. He hasn’t done that
again, but he’s usually sleeping for at least 6+ hours solid each night. Its surprising to celebrate 6 hours sleep, but we'll take it!.
Enjoy the pictures.
We’re having to be a little sneaky with the camera. Ryan sees the
camera and immediately gets serious, and one of us has to distract him
from the camera so he’ll smile.
Silly boy!
